humimeter FS4 universal grain moisture meter
The humimeter FS4 is a powerful universal grain moisture meter for the determination of water content of all food and grain types. In addition customer-specific food and grain species can be calibrated by the customer himself.
Via the integrated datalog the measuring values can be stored on the grain special food moisture meter and additional data can be added. You also have the possibility to use the Hold function. This function freezes the last measuring value on the display of the universal grain moisture meter until another button is pressed.
To increase the measuring accuracy and reproducibility of the grain special food moisture meter, the measurement is hectolitre compensated by a precise weighing of the sample quantity. For that the grain moisture meter is delivered with a scale and measuring cup, which ensures that the bulk density doesn´t affect the measuring result. The whole grain moisture meter series is calibrated and checked according to the calibratable kiln-drying method EN-ISO 712.
Simultaneously, the universal grain moisture meter also measures the sample temperature and includes it in the calculation of the measuring result. The temperature range goes from 0 °C to 40 °C and can be set to °C or °F as required.
The calibrated measuring range of our grain special food moisture meter humimeter FS4 goes from 0% to 50% water content (depending on the product).
A further feature of the universal grain moisture meter is its integrated USB interface. This interface enables the connection of the device to a PC. Via the delivered LogMemorizer software the measuring values can be read off the device, addition information can be added, and the data can be archived, exported and processed. At the push of a button the measured water content, the sample temperature and additional information as well as special device data can be released at the interface and processed by other PC programmes. Furthermore the data can be sent to a portable thermo printer at your fingertips (Online function).
As an accessory for this grain special food moisture meter, we offer a portable and handy thermo printer. With this printer the saved data can be printed without a PC directly on site. The printouts can be handed out as a receipt for the suppliers.
handling / measuring procedure
To guarantee precise measuring values in the long run, after switching on the humimeter universal grain moisture meter automatically effects a self-calibration. After that, the corresponding calibration curve can be selected at the grain special food moisture meter.
Subsequently, the measuring chamber of the grain special food moisture meter is filled with the amount of material indicated in the manual. To determine the exact grain quantity the humimeter device is delivered with a balance and measuring cup.
The water content can immediately be read off the large, well-lit display of the universal grain moisture meter and saved, edited or printed out via the integrated datalog if required.
