The RH5.1 piercing hygrometer is a powerful moisture measuring device with a sword sensor for determining moisture in stacks of paper. To measure the moisture in a stack of paper, this sensor only needs to be inserted into the stack and left there for a short adjustment period.
The measured values can also be saved using the data logger of the humimeter RH5.1 pin hygrometer, provided with additional data and retrieved later.
In order to avoid damaging the blade when dealing with heavy stacks of paper, the blade sleeve and blade sleeve extractor are available as accessories. The blade sleeve can be hammered into the stack of paper, then the humimeter RH5.1 piercing hygrometer is inserted into it and the measurement is carried out without distorting the result. At the end of the measurement, the device is pulled out of the sleeve and the sleeve can be easily removed from the stack using the blade sleeve extractor.
At the same time, the humimeter RH5.1 pin hygrometer also measures and displays the temperature of the material and also includes it in the moisture calculation. The measuring range is -10 to +60 °C and can be displayed in either °C or °F.
The calibrated measuring range of our humimeter RH5.1 pin hygrometer ranges from 10% to 90% relative humidity. Of course, the device for paper moisture can also be used to measure the normal humidity in a room.
