The bulk material sensor is immediately ready for use thanks to the reference calibration curve or the pre-installed free bulk material calibration curves. The sensor is applied as follows:

• Connect the insertion sensor to the humimeter SG1 measuring device and perform a self-adjustment.
• The sensor is ready for use and can be inserted into the material.

3 ways to interpret the measurement result:
1. The entire measuring range of the bulk solids measuring device is divided into a unitless display on the measuring device via the reference characteristic curve (reference measuring method).
2. An assignment can be made via the free bulk material characteristics using an already existing moisture or water content.
A water content can also be assigned using an alternative reference method (gravimetric drying, etc.) and the appropriate characteristic curve can be selected from the 8 pre-installed characteristic curves.
3. By recording a specific characteristic curve (item 11217), a suitable characteristic curve for the desired product can be created in our laboratory after consultation.

• The measurement result is displayed immediately and can be printed out on a printer or transferred to the PC via the USB interface.
