The humimeter LM5 Leather Moisture Meter is a hand-held device to determine leather moisture non-destructively.

After selecting the correct characteristic curve (depending on the density of the leather), the humimeter LM5 leather moisture meter is placed on a stack of leather hides that is at least 10 mm thick (e.g. on a bench) and pressed firmly. The absolute leather moisture and the temperature can be read immediately from the display. The leather is not damaged by the measuring process. The average water content can be determined in a matter of seconds by taking several measurements at different points.
Benefit from the non-destructive measurement method and optimize drying costs and maintenance times by detecting any moisture fluctuations or moisture spots in good time. The measured values can be saved on the device and supplemented with information such as batch numbers. With the optional USB interface, the measurement data can be transferred to a PC and archived, evaluated, exported or printed out using the LogMemorizer PC software.
