LF-TD 180 temperature & moisture transmitter with 4-20mA current outputs for moisture and temperature
Moisture transmitter for maximum temperatures of 180°C for laboratory, air conditioning and drying technology, wood processing, food, feed, construction and paper industries, printing houses, agriculture, biotechnology and medicine.
In the manufacturing process, further processing, storage and transport, the exact determination of moisture and temperature becomes increasingly important. Only an accurate moisture monitoring can guarantee high product quality.
The LF-TD The measuring transducer series from Schaller Messtechnik in a robust and easy-to-install aluminum housing is ideal for this. A 100 mm long robust sensor tube (Ø 12mm) made of stainless steel with a screwed-on sensor cap attached to a 1 meter long cable expands the possible uses of the LF-TD 180 temperature and humidity transmitters. Various sensor caps (steel sinter, bronze sinter, plastic with or without filter paper and much more) are available as optional accessories.
Humidity and temperature values are output as standard via an analog 4-20mA analog output. Optionally, other interfaces such as RS232, Profinet, Modbus or USB can also be selected for the temperature and humidity transmitters.
An additional expansion of the possible uses offers an optional display on which the current humidity and temperature values can be read.
Two optional relay outputs enable alarms or ventilation, for example, to be controlled directly from the humidity and temperature transmitter. These switching outputs can be connected directly to the LF-TD 180 humidity transmitters can be freely configured. (switching points, hysteresis)
Trouble-free connection to an existing system is guaranteed by the supplied 1.9 meter long connection cable including overmolded, robust sensor plug (sensor side). The second side of the cable is equipped with wire end ferrules for easy connection, e.g. in the control cabinet.
The used capacitive moisture sensor ensures long-time stable and accurate measuring values and is resistant to normal pollution and a lot of chemicals. Furthermore, the sensors used in the LF-TD transmitters are characterised by rapid conditioning.
The excellent measuring accuracy of the LF-TD series is guaranteed by a factory-calibration at six humidity points. On request a calibration certificate can be provided.
