humimeter BP1 Pellets moisture meter

 The humimeter BP1 wood pellets moisture meter is a powerful measuring instrument for the determination of water content of all standard wood pellets as well as special pellets. This industrial-standard moisture meter is developed and produced by humimeter Schaller GmbH.
The measured values can be saved via the integrated datalog, additional data can be added, and later on the data can be recalled. Furthermore you have the possibility to use the “Hold” function, which means that the measured values are frozen on the display until the next button is pushed.

In order to increase the measuring accuracy and the reproducibility, the measurement is hectolitre compensated. This is achieved by an accurate weighing of the sample quantity, using the included scale and measuring cup. With this method the measurement is not influenced by different bulk densities. The entire instrument series is calibrated and checked via the calibratable kiln-drying method according to CEN/TS14961:2005.

Simultaneously, the device measures the sample temperature, shows it on the display and considers the measured temperature for calculating the moisture. The temperature range goes from 0°C to 40°C (32°F to 104°F). The display can be set to °C or °F as required.

The calibrated measuring range of our wood pellets moisture meter varies from 3% to 20% water content (dependent on the type).
A further optimal feature is the optionally available serial interface. This interface enables the connection to a PC. The included “LogMemorizer” software reads out the measuring values from the device. Now they can be processed, filed, exported and further information can be added.

The interface outputs the water content, the sample temperature, additional information and special device data, which can then be processed by other PC programmes.

Another available accessory is a portable and handy thermo printer. This printer enables the printout of saved data everywhere on site without any PC. This printouts can be used as a document for your suppliers.
